Accessible Tourism

Program

Tourism has become a primary social need, a tool for knowledge and personal emancipation for all people, both those with and without disabilities.
The Mission of our Cultural Association of authorized tourist guides is to guarantee access to the tourist experience to all people, regardless of personal, social or any other conditions that tend to limit the use and enjoyment of this common good. Accessible tourism is the maximum expression of the goal of civilization to which our present should aspire.
Accessibility is the absence of architectural, cultural and sensorial barriers, it is the indispensable condition to allow the use of the Italian and foreign tourist heritage. Every individual must therefore have the right to be able to use the tourist offer in a complete and autonomous way, receiving adequate and therefore optimal services.

As a cultural association of authorized tourist guides we are attentive to this issue, aware of twenty years of experience in the field of tourism. We are able to support people with physical, intellectual and relational disabilities so that their stay can be an accessible, usable and above all enjoyable experience.
Our services are dedicated in particular to groups, associations, individual travelers with disabilities or other special needs such as the elderly and pregnant women, people with food intolerances and people of all faiths and religions.

We are therefore able to support and accompany you throughout the entire journey: from booking the most suitable means of transport, to the most suitable accommodation such as a hotel, apartment, B&B up to the tour best suited to your needs, to booking restaurants or wine shops or cellars in line with your desires and needs.

All our itineraries can be adapted to your needs.

Sensory tour

An experience of a visit to a cellar can involve all our senses. But how can you fully involve those who cannot rely on all 5 senses? Sensory analysis is a unique and universal language capable of transmitting notions and concepts in a simple, fun and above all interactive way.
The tourist thus becomes an active participant from a spectator, to enjoy an accessible and usable experience. It is a way to bring people with physical and intellectual disabilities closer to food and wine, but also families with children, the elderly and people with food intolerances.

People can experience how their sense of smell and taste work, correlating the aromas, flavours and sensations of wine to specific moments of production, thus learning the various phases of the supply chain. The tour visits the cellar where the various instruments are touched, literally with their hands, feeling the cold steel of the fermenters or the rough wooden barrels and much more.

The experiences can also be repeated for other products such as oil, beer, cheeses and everything that our territory can offer.
