Roman Verona – Half Day Tour

Discover Verona as a Roman city in a 2-hour tour, accompanied by authorized tour guides, ideal for student groups. The itinerary combines history, archaeology, and interesting facts, offering insights into daily life and cultural heritage of ancient Verona.

Main itinerary:

  • Internal visit of Verona Arena (ticket required)
  • Walk along the Via Postumia, an ancient Roman consular road, to Portoni Borsari
  • Stop at the Medusa Head of the Roman Tomb
  • Arrival at Piazza delle Erbe, the ancient Roman forum, passing part of the Cardo Maximus
  • Optional stop at the courtyard of Juliet’s House (time permitting)
  • Piazza dei Signori with Roman street remains and mosaic in the Tribunal courtyard
  • Walk along the Decumanus Maximus to the river, admiring the Roman Theatre, Roman Bridge (Ponte Pietra), and San Pietro Hill

Extra option: internal visit to the Roman Theatre (+1 hour).

Panoramic coach option

For groups with limited time, enjoy a panoramic city tour by bus, passing Porta Nuova, Porta Palio, Arco dei Gavi, and Ponte Pietra (+1 hour).

STUDENT COST: For 2 hours €150.00 1- 30 pax; €170.00 31-50 students; only with earphone rental; €5.00 for each pax over 50. €50.00 for each extra hour.

CANCELLATION POLICY: once the tour is confirmed, it can be cancelled without penalties up to 11 days before. If cancelled from 5 to 10 days, 50% of the cost will be charged, if cancelled from 4 days to the day of the tour, a penalty of 100% will be applied
