Program

This route is focused on those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the town with a local guide, but have got neither a bus nor a car available. In this case the sightseeing consists of a walking tour in the old city-centre visiting the most characteristic points such as: Bra Square with the famous Roman Amphitheatre “Arena”, Castle and Scaligero Bridge (only outside), Gavi Arch, Roman Gate “Porta Borsari”, Juliet’s House, Signori Square, Erbe Market Square, Scaligeri Tombs “Arche Scaligere”, the Basilica of St. Anastasia (possible interior visit, entrance fee).

DURATION: 2 hours without entrances

ADULT COST: For 2 hours €140.00 up to 30 people. For 2 hours ½ €165.00 up to 30 people. For 3 hours €190.00 up to 30 people. €5.00 for each person over 30. €50.00 for each extra hour.

STUDENT COST: For 2 hours €140.00 1- 30 people; €160.00 31-50 students; only with earphone rental; €5.00 for each person over 50. €50.00 for each extra hour. + €12.00 For electronic invoicing

CANCELLATION POLICIES: once the tour has been confirmed, it will be possible to cancel it without penalties up to 11 days before. If cancelled between 5 and 10 days, 50% of the cost will be charged. If cancelled between 4 days and the day of the tour, a penalty of 100% will be applied.

Verona has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its urban peculiarities and its artistic and cultural heritage. Its symbol is the Arena. A Roman amphitheatre located in the historic centre of Verona, an icon of the Venetian city together with the figures of Romeo and Juliet. It is one of the great buildings that have characterised Roman architecture and one of the ancient amphitheatres that has reached us in the best state of conservation, thanks to the systematic restorations carried out since the sixteenth century; for this very reason, despite the numerous transformations it has undergone, it allows the visitor to easily understand the structure of this type of building, strictly subject to the function for which they were intended but still endowed with an essential beauty.
