Guided Tour Verona Between Art and Faith

Verona, city of art, city of churches, symptom of the strong devotional sentiment that has characterized it over the centuries and that still gives it the right dimension today.
This itinerary intends to delve into this artistic aspect of the city. In fact, it consists of a visit to the main churches in the historic center such as: San Zeno, a masterpiece of Romanesque art, visible in the building structure, in the bronze doors, in the cloister, and in the Renaissance painting visible in the altarpiece by Andrea Mantegna.
Santa Anastasia, a masterpiece of Gothic art, visible in the building structure and in its frescoes (the famous “Saint George with the Princess and the Dragon” by Antonio Pisanello). Cathedral, witness to styles, arts and different historical moments that have characterized the history of Verona. It is possible to see Titian’s painting “The Ascension of the Virgin to Heaven”. Finally, on the banks of the Adige, the two overlapping churches of San Fermo are worth a thorough visit: from the 14th-century frescoes of the large Gothic Franciscan basilica, you move on to the evocative atmosphere of the lower Romanesque church.

CANCELLATION POLICY: once the tour is confirmed, it will be possible to cancel it without penalty up to 11 days before. If cancelled from 5 to 10 days, 50% of the cost will be charged, if cancelled from 4 days to the day of the tour, a penalty of 100% will be applied
